SLACC is a project, co-funded by the European Commission within the program Erasmus+, which arises from the need to debunk the myths relating to climate change.<\/p>\n

In recent years, significant strides have been made in understanding climate change, its causes, and consequences. However, there is a huge flow of misinformation aimed at confusing public opinion and generating doubts about the existence of climate change. Media and social media have become the vehicle of the main fake news but most young people are becoming increasingly aware of the climate crisis and consider the fight against climate change a crucial issue to address.<\/p>\n

An online platform and an educational App will be developed containing digital educational material, quizzes, and puzzles useful for debunking fake news on climate change and promoting awareness of environmental issues.<\/p>\n

A training course for youth workers will also be designed, with the purpose of providing them with digital resources and innovative practices, to be used to strengthen young people’s skills in recognizing fake news and reaction to the spread of environmental dis\/misinformation online.<\/p>\n
